Who Is Bones on ‘Hawaii Five-0’? That’s Ziggy Marley

On the Hawaii Five-0 episode “Ka Pohaku Kihi Pa'a” (The Solid Cornerstone), when Five-0’s longtime informant Flippa (Will Yun Lee) is accused of murder, McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) calls his old friend Odell Martin (Michael Imperioli) to defend him. It won’t be easy defending the lifelong criminal. So Odell calls in his friend Bones for backup.
Bones is portrayed by Ziggy Marley, the eldest son of reggae legend Bob Marley. Ziggy is known as the leader of Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, and as a solo artist. His most recent solo albums include Fly Rasta
(2014) and his sixth solo album Ziggy Marley will be released on May 20. Ziggy is making his acting debut on Hawaii Five-0 which airs Fridays at 9pm on CBS.
