Carnival Parade - Saturday - June 7, 2008
Olympic Plaza to 8 Avenue to Shaw Millennium Park, 12:00 noon
Bands of masqueraders in their vibrant costumes dance on the parade route to the intoxicating sounds of the calypso, soca and reggae music. In the Caribbean all this colour and sound is said to be street theatre at it's best.

Sunshine Festival - Saturday - June 7, 2008
Shaw Millennium Park - 12:00 noon
The Sunshine Festival is the pen-ultimate affair of the festival. Major entertainers from the Caribbean and local performers transport thousands to the blue skies and green waters of the Islands. Inlcudes performances by Bunji Garlin, Fay Lyons, Ricky T, Tony Curtis and Jigsy King. Spicy meals are provided by the Island Associations and one can still barter at the Sunshine Market for Caribbean Arts and Crafts. It will be the ultimate family experience.
