Is There A GOD or Gods it depends on your definition of GOD...according to my definition there IS
God is Omniscience, Omnipotent and Omnipresent.
The western Idea of God and religion, is to me a case akin to the story Humpty dumpty, where in religion is the ossification of spirituality, something that should be viscerally experienced, now being intellectualized.
Buddhism is the science of religion and as such the closest thing to a true religion or religious experience. Tantra-ism is universally practice by most primitive tribes in various form and is root from which Buddhism and Yoga springs. Buddhism is not truly a religion as it predates religions, Hinduism not withstanding. Spirituality reach is zenith socially in Egypt and India, and its decline has left us with the many religions we see today spreading the false hope of spiritual awaking - salvation....paradise....heaven.
