A SERVICE OF THANKSGIVING - and a TOWN HALL MEETING is being planned for the JAMAICAN COMMUNITY IN DALLAS, TO CELEBRATE JAMAICA'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE AND TO PRAY FOR OUR BELOVED NATION, AND TO UNIFY OUR FAITH COMMUNITY IN DALLAS.
At this point we are in the Planning Stage, but we invite the Jamaican Community in Dallas to respond to this post, we are especially inviting Pastors, Ministers, Evangelists, and those who may be Missionaries or have conducted Mission Trips to Jamaica. Of course we extend an invite to all Jamaicans and lovers of our Island to participate, (if you know of anyone living in the Dallas or North Texas area, let them know about our plans)
There is a Jamaican Community in Dallas, but due to the size of our City it is very scattered. We are hoping to use this gathering as a means of forming a Fellowship for Jamaicans as a means of connecting with our Community, and doing outreach to support Missions, Schools and Churches in Jamaica.
Please pray for our efforts and let us know your thoughts.
God Bless.
