Several years ago when Miss Yardie and her husband moved into this neighbourhood, she was fifteen times 
worse than dahJah in her hatred for dogs.
<span style="font-style: italic">Oh...and she was real vocal about it too...
but...I treated her with love...much niceness...
one to another... </span>
Her yard is a joy to behold and so by complimenting her about her gardening skills and asking about her various plants, I maintained cordial relations with her.
I even took it a step further for the sake of my dogs.
We live several homes over and for peace I <span style="font-style: italic">bought less dog food</span>
over time and paid for the security of her yard so that I did not have to hear the endless <span style="font-style: italic">complaints</span> about my dogs...who really didn't even venture that far...but who only sniffed here and there ...along her fence when we went walking.
Anyway, this morning we are out for a walk..and guess what...?
She has a dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A most delightful little Shih tzu!
All she could was laugh when she saw us...
