Air J settles legal battle out of court
The bitter legal battle involving Air Jamaica and its former employee Miguel Gallimore has been settled out of court.
The lawsuit, which has featured damning charges and allegations, was resolved with both parties agreeing that the terms would be kept confidential.
In a joint release issued Tuesday afternoon, the parties said Mr. Gallimore acknowledge that his allegations were not specifically related to three commercial claims in the lawsuit which arose out of his employment with Air Jamaica.
Mr. Gallimore admitted that he did not have specific evidence regarding the allegations.
In the meantime the Gordon "Butch" Stewart-led Air Jamaica Acquisition Group (AJAG) has again chided Mr. Gallimore's brother Andrew over his recent allegation in Parliament.
The Group says Miguel Gallimore's admission that he did not have evidence to support his allegations exposes the rotten underbelly of the charges made by his brother in Parliament.
AJAG has already challenged Andrew Gallimore to repeat his allegations outside of Parliament.
