You will use your well-developed IT knowledge and consulting skills to support the management and staff at Agriculture Financial Services Corporation. Client focus, the ability to plan and make decisions, results orientation and strong communication skills, along with a desire to make a positive difference, will be qualities that you will bring to the team. Reporting to the Vice-President, Finance, the Senior Manager Information Technology gy will provide leadership for developing and implementing Information Technology (IT) initiatives through a combination of AFSC and outsourced staff that improve cost effectiveness and ensure timely delivery of consistent high quality service in a constantly changing business environment. The incumbent will lead the IT team in planning and implementing information systems to support both decentralized and centralized business operations and achieve highly effective corporate-wide IT operations.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, or Business Administration or a related field. A minimum of ten years progressive experience in managing functions and departments dealing with information handling, work flow and systems with three or more years of direct management of a major IT operation. Experience should also include substantial exposure to both in-house and shared or outsourced systems, multiple hardware platforms, and integrated information and communications systems.
