The 16-year-old Barrie boy who was believed to have run away with a 42-year-old Texas woman he met online has been found at a shopping mall in Orillia, according to the boy's family.
Andrew Kane is being transferred by OPP officers to the police station in Barrie, where he will meet his parents.
"I'm just incredibly relieved," said Nicole Kane, his 19-year-old sister.
She said she did not know many of the details, except that the OPP received a tip about her brother's location and were able to find him at around 3 p.m.
"I'm just very, very glad that Andrew's safe," she said.
