mi an mi fren used to walk home from school and as wi walk wi used to throw pebbles under passign cars an hear dem knock up under the car...so one evenin wi a walk an mi decide sey one stone wasnt enough..so as di cyar pass mi throw a handfull of stones unda it...yuh shoulda hear di sound...di man draw brakes and mi an mi fren jump di wall and run go hide unda one bush...so as wi di deh a lie down unda di bush hear di cyar man a shout out sey him know us and if anything worng wid him cyar a pure trouble....wi never move wi jus under di bush a temble.

.. and yes the gal pickeny dem use to love hitch up pon di dash board. Especially one from Holy Childhood. It sweet mi one day mi and mi siblings dem go a Mas Roy yard early and go inna di bus (before Roy even wake up, people use to start load up di man bus.. (sigh) those were the days).. So mi and mi siblings dem tech ova di dash board..
Miss Holly Childhood she come, see sey di dashboard full.. Bexup har face and go sidun pon a side seat beside the front door.
Anway on wi way to kingston, passing where Bridgeport High School is now. I think the school was being built, so loads a material spread from the curb out into the road blocking off our lane..
So Mas Roy decide fi go round quickly, however at the same time was JOS Express bus did a shoot a come from down Edgewater side. Neither Roy now the JOS driver could teck away quick enuff so di bus dem collide! Head ON!
Mi rememba things almost in slow motion.. Mi grab mi likkle bredda as mi see what was about to happen, and jump towards the bus passage, My bredda claim him hear mi shout out "SHAZZAM!" (Dem days deh dat was a popular tv superhero)
Anyways as the bus swung, Ms childhood dropped outta di bus, and di door slam upon impact.
To we in those days it was a joke how she fell outta di bus..
Yardy a hope yuh not Ms Holy Childhood. ??
