Assistant Commissioner of Police Les Green says the investigation into damning allegations made against Energy Minister James Robertson is gaining traction.Green pointed to the recent arrest of Kayon Campbell, popularly known as 'Treasure', as a significant development in the case, but refused to elaborate."I think that was a move in the right direction. I think we are making some positive inroads and we will continue to do so," he told The Gleaner.Campbell was taken into custody last week for allegedly violating bail conditions set by the court last year after he was charged with conspiracy to murder Ian Johnson, the man who made the allegations against Robertson.Johnson has alleged, in a statement to the police and a letter delivered to Prime Minister Bruce Golding, that Robertson has taken out a contract to have him killed.Robertson has repeatedly denied the allegations, calling them "spurious, unfounded, erratic and self-serving".Green said the police are still acting on several leads and collecting statements.
