The son of a prominent West Kingston businessman is in police custody after he was held with an illegal firearm. His name is being withheld by the police as investigations continue.According to police reports, the man who is described as a person of interest was riding a motorcycle in downtown Kingston when he was signalled to stop.He reportedly sped off and was chased and held at Blake Road near South Camp Road.Police sources say a gun with more than twenty rounds of ammunition was taken from him.The police allege that he featured prominently in the West Kingston violence in May and was a top lieutenant in the network headed by former Tivoli Gardens strongman Christopher "Dudus" Coke.He is facing a charge of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
