A British woman, who reportedly defrauded several hotels in St. Ann and Portland in a credit card racket, has been charged by the police. She is Karen Daley, a resident of East London, England.Ms Daley was charged on Monday by members of the Organised Crime Investigation Division on several counts of fraud.It is alleged that over a three week period the Briton used fictitious credit cards to book into hotels in St. Ann and Portland.More than US$6,000 was defrauded.The scam was uncovered and OCID was called in to investigate.Ms Daley was nabbed last week during an operation in the Corporate area.She is booked to appear in court later this week.
