Travel to the south coast of St. Elizabeth has been made easier, with the official opening of the Lionel Densham Aerodrome. The new aerodrome was officially opened by Prime Minister Bruce Golding on Thursday.The facility, which is privately owned, is the brain child of hotelier, Jason Henzell. Prime Minister Golding said with travel now easier to Treasure Beach, tourism arrivals should increase. He also announced that the airstrip at Holland, in the parish, is to be developed to facilitate easier travel to Sandals Whitehouse. The Lionel Densham Aerodrome was developed at a cost of J$18 million on eight acres of lands at Shorthill, and was completed in 14 months.
