A Lingering Frontal Trough over the central Caribbean along with a new Frontal System approaching from the northwest could influence weather conditions over Jamaica during the next few days. The Trough is expected to generate cloudy conditions with scattered showers gradually developing across most of the country today. As the Front moves closer, however, expect an increase in rainfall tomorrow and Sunday with temperatures again lower than normal going into next week. Fishers and other marine interests should also expect choppy seas and thundershowers during the period. The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the progress of this system.
