The Embassy of the United States of America in Kingston will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2011 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.Day, a federal holiday in the United States. All parts of the U.S. Mission, including the Consular Section, Information Resource Centre, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Peace Corps offices and the U.S. Consular Agency in Montego Bay, will be closed on that day. The Embassy and its affiliated offices will re-open for business on Tuesday, January 18th.
