THE Richmond Police are advising members of the public to exercise caution when purchasing sweet peppers, following a reported incident of praedial larceny in the Georgia area of St Mary.According to the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN), between yesterday and this morning, thieves reportedly stole more than 500 pounds of sweet pepper from a farm in the area. The peppers were recently sprayed with a toxic chemical and were not to be reaped for some three to four more weeks.
