Employers are now able to pay all their monthly payroll deductions at Tax Offices islandwide. The Tax Administration says it has partnered with the National Housing Trust, National Insurance Scheme and the HEART Trust/NTA, with support from the Fiscal Services Limited and the Planning Institute of Jamaica to facilitate the payment of the deductions at Tax Offices. This means that from the monthly period January 1 - 31, for which payment is due by February 14, employers will be able to make all monthly statutory payments at any Tax Office. To simplify the process, a single Employer's Monthly Statutory Remittance declaration form has been designed and Gazetted, and is to be used by employers to remit the payroll deductions. The new single remittance form, which replaces several remittance forms and cards previously used for each payroll type is now available at Tax Offices and online at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm.Employers also have the option to use the online Tax Portal to make their monthly remittance. http://www.jamaicatax.gov.jm
