A thanksgiving service for the life of former People's National Party member of parliament Donald 'Danny Buck' Buchanan will be held today.The service will be held at the St Peter's Church in Pedro Plains in St Elizabeth. Buchanan succumbed to the effects of colon cancer two Sundays ago.He was admitted to the Surgical Intensive Care Unit of the University Hospital of The West Indies for a week following surgery at the Andrews Memorial Hospital.Buchanan was a former Cabinet minister and member of parliament for South West St Elizabeth.He was 68 at the time of his passing.
