One man was killed and a woman injured, after they were hit by a motor car on the West End main road, in Negril, Friday night. The dead man has been identified as 57-year-old Roy Anthony Stout, a computer engineer.The injured woman is Stout's 47-year-old companion, both of Kentucky, USA.Reports from the Negril Police are that about 9:30 p.m., Stout and his companion were walking along the road, when the driver of a motor car reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which ran off the road, injuring the two.They were transported to the Savanna-la-Mar General Hospital, where Stout was pronounced dead, and his companion admitted in critical condition. A breathalyzer test was administered to the driver of the motor car. He was also warned for prosecution.
