A Clarendon educator is calling for the establishment of a special institution to deal with disruptive students.Principal of the Geen Park Primary and Junior High School, Oneil Ankle, says while he is in agreement with the government to abolish corporal punishment, consideration must be given to ways to deal with the behavioural problems posed by disruptive students.Mr. Ankle says he is aware that the government currently has a project to address the needs of such students, through its Programme For Alternative Student Support.But he says there is need for a more creative approach to deal with the problem in schools.
