A man who attempted to break into a car in Cooreville Gardens on Friday died after he fell on a metal pipe while trying to elude the owner of the vehicle. His name has not yet been ascertained. The man is of Indian decent, appears to be in the early twenties, is of stout build, brown complexion and about 6 feet or 182 centimeters tall. The body of the unidentified man was clad in a black shirt and blue jeans pants. It also had a tattoo on the right upper arm. The Duhaney Park Police reports that about 2:00 p.m. residents saw the man breaking into a car in the community. The owner was alerted and in an effort to escape, he jumped over the front perimeter wall of the community and landed on the metal pipe which pierced his chest. He was taken to the University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries
