The National Water Commission (NWC) says mechanical work being carried out in sections of St. Catherine and St. Andrew will deprive some of its customers of water, until Thursday.In St. Catherine, the areas to be affected are those served by the Sunnyside well, and include Rose Hall, Princess Field, Cow Gully, High Mountain, Cashew Walk, Riversdale main road, Sunnyside, and Burton. Areas that are to be affected by the disruption in St. Andrew include Stony Hill, Golden Spring, Jack's Hill, Lawrence Tavern, Mannings Hill, Boone Hall, and Mount Ogle. The NWC says water will return to the St. Andrew neighbourhoods on Tuesday.The disruption adds to the water woes customers started facing last week, as the NWC rations supplies in response to declining rainfall and falling levels at the Hermitage dam.
