For the second consecutive week the police are maintaining curfews in sections of the St. Catherine North Division.A statement on Monday night from the Constabulary Communication Network said the curfews, which were imposed on Sunday, will remain in effect until 6 o'clock Wednesday evening. They cover parts of the Spanish Town bypass, the Dumbeholden Road and March Pen.Over in De la Vega City the curfew is in effect for sections of the Port Henderson Road and Salt Pond Road.The third curfew is in Dallas Lane.The affected areas are Burke Road and lower Oxford Road.And sections sections of the St. Catherine South Division are also under a curfew.A began in Braeton Phase 3 at six o'clock Monday evening and will remain in effect until six o'clock Wednesday evening.The boundaries of the curfew are north along Snapper Avenue from Barracuda Avenue to Braeton Boulevard; south along Whale Avenue from Braeton Boulevard to Barracuda Avenue; east along Barracuda Avenue from Whale Avenue to Snapper Avenue; west along Braeton Boulevard from Snapper Avenue to Whale Avenue.And another curfew has been imposed in Big Lane in Central Village.That curfew began at six o'clock Monday evening and will remain in effect until six o'clock Wednesday evening.The boundaries of the curfew are north along an imaginary line from Big Lane to the New Testament Church of God; south along the bank of the Rio Cobre from Big Lane to an imaginary line leading from the new Testament Church of God to the river; east along Big Lane from an imaginary line leading from the New Testament Church of God to the bank of the Rio Cobre; west along an imaginary line from the New Testament Church of God to the Rio Cobre. During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless authorized in writing by the member of the security forces who is in charge of enforcing the curfew.
