Reigning national 100 metre champion Oshane Bailey sped to a record 10.41 seconds to win the men's 100 metres ahead of Kemar Bailey Cole 10.56 seconds.Shericka Jackson of Vere Technical High also posted a new mark of 12.09 seconds to win the class two girls 100 metres.Shereefa Lloyd of Racers Track Club posted a record 53.17 seconds to win the women's 400 metres.Shevel McDonald of St. Jago High posted a new record of 2 minutes:15.46 seconds to win the class 2 girls 800 metres while Chantal Duncan of Vere set a new mark of 2 minutes:15.92 seconds to win the class one girls 800 metres.Clive Oullen of Kingston College registered a new record of 7 metres flat to win the class 2 boys long jump while Chanice Porter of Manchester High set a new mark of 1.80 metres to win the class 2 girls high jump.Other notable performances came from Edino Steele, who posted 46.16 seconds to win the men's 400 metres ahead of Yohan Blake 46.30 seconds.Deandre Whitehorne sped to 11.94 seconds to win the class one girls 100 metres.St. Georges College 41.62 seconds and Holmwood Technical 46.67 seconds took the class one boys and girls sprint relays and the top monetary prize of $60,000.
