There's been a second wave of sick-outs by police in Trinidad and Tobago. Security at the residences of senior officials, including Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, were hit by the latest bout on Monday.Local media say soldiers had to be called out to replace absent police officers.The officers are protesting what they say is a derisory 5% pay increase offer; they want 40%.Divisions all across the country were affected by the sick-out.
