International Reggae artiste Buju Banton was back on the stand on day four of his drug trial in Tampa, Florida. He faced a flurry of questions from lead prosecutor Jim Preston about his alleged involvement in plans to enter into a cocaine deal.Buju was unable to provide a solid answer to the flurry of questions he faced on his second day on the stand. This seemed to somewhat disturb his lawyers and some of his supporters.Prosecutors kept asking Buju why he insisted on having a relationship with informant Alexander Johnson if he was not interested in a drug deal.To this Buju admitted that he said several things that he should not have said and he had hurt his family. However, none of his responses provided a satisfactory reason as to why the relationship with Mr. Johnson continued for as long as it did. Buju's management team is said to be concerned and not pleased with the line of questioning and the way the trial is going at this time.
