Several police personnel Thursday morning carried out an operation in the vicinity of the Munster Road, Mountain View Avenue residence which was the scene of a massive gun and ammunition find last week.
Senior police officer on the scene said the police were carrying out an operation at a residence near to the house where the guns and ammunition were found.
However, the police did not provide details about the operation.
Last Thursday, officers from the East Kingston Police Division found 19 guns and more than 10,000 rounds of assorted ammunition at a house on Munster Road.
A police sergeant attached to the Police Armoury was among persons arrested in connection with the find.
The guns were believed to have been stolen from the Police Armoury and police stores on Elletson Road.
After the massive find Acting Police Commissioner, Owen Ellington
, immediately ordered the police stores and armoury closed.
