Opposition leader to visit Jamaicans in New York
Word out of New York is that Opposition Leader Bruce Golding is to visit the state this week for a series of engagements.
Mr. Golding is scheduled to travel to Rockland and Westchester for a tour of Jamaican expatriate communities in the New York metro area.
Mr. Golding will also conduct town hall style meetings and walking tours in Long Island and Brooklyn.
His stops will take him to Tappan, Spring Valley, Mount Vernon and New Rochelle.
Mr. Golding will tour Royal Caribbean Bakery in Tappan Tuesday, followed by a town hall-style event beginning at 7 in the evening.
On Thursday, he will meet privately with Mount Vernon's Mayor, Ernest Davis.
