Here are my picks for the 2012-13 NBA Season awards. I have not picks for Most Improved or Executive of the year. I think most improved is a waste in most cases as that player typically does not continue to improve drastically after that. I would give executive of the Year to Pat Riley each year so hence no pick.
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER
LeBron James
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Damian Lillard
SIXTH MAN OF THE YEAR
J.R. Smith - (Hate to give the Knicks anything but have to give JR credit)
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Joakim Noah - (Even though he was injured for most of the 2nd half of the season he was good defensively)
COACH OF THE YEAR
George Karl - Some may say Miami Coach Spo should get it because of the 27 Game win streak but I think George Karl has done the best with no "Super Star" and having injured players.
