Scandal: What kind of slackness dis?

I have never before caught a full episode of Scandal. I only saw a small part of one episode last year.

Just when I was thinking this ain't so bad, Olivia Pope comes across as very professional and competent. Olivia Pope shows up half naked at a white guy's hotel room. It's a white guy who insulted her by saying he had reserved the hotel room so that they could have booty calls when he summoned her.


While this type of storyline will make Black women appear more sexually attractive and desirable, it will also make us look like a set of slut hoes not marriage material. It will make it even tougher for colleagues and clients to take Black women seriously.


Then, 2 chi-chi man a hook-up in hotel room.


Storyline was fine without this slackness. I know I won't be watching again.

mi a try tink back a coulda which episode dat deh. so far i tink the president and jake the only two white guys she been with...then there was the one one black guy but the way she flip back and forth mi cyan memba if one third white man was in the picture.

she and the fitz normally hook up at her place or at white house or camp david so mi no memba dem being at no hotel. coulda been jake....

ABC's new hit show, "Scandal," is about a professional "fixer" who big names in Washington turn to for damage control.

The story isn't fictional — the real-life inspiration for the show still lives in the District, and despite working with household names for two decades, she typically stays out of the public eye.

On the show, a fast-paced drama about crisis management in the nation's capitol, Kerry Washington plays Olivia Pope. The inspiration for Pope's character comes from a woman named Judy Smith.


Smith is president and CEO of the D.C.-based crisis management and public relations firm Smith and Company.


"It's hard to be invisible now, but I'm still gonna try, but it's hard!" Smiths aid.


Smith grew up in a family of five children in Northeast Washington and has always excelled at crisis management. When she was young, she says, she resolved dodgeball disputes and helped mediate the big breakup of the neighborhood "it" couple.


Smith attended law school at American University and was soon doing crisis management for Marion Barry, George H.W. Bush's White House press office, Monica Lewinsky, and Chandra Levy's parents.
Now Smith is enjoying that "Scandal" has dramatized her world for television, though she says the drama is lost on her family.
"Like any family, they're very proud, but ... it's still the same, 'So what are you making for dinner?' It doesn't change," she said.
"In every crisis, there are opportunities. We all have issues and problems; it's how we navigate them and the lessons we learn from them that count," Smith said.

Shown in 2002, Judy Smith acted as the spokeswoman for the family of Washington intern Chandra Levy, who disappeared in 2001 and was revealed to have had an affair with Gary Condit, then a U.S. congressman from California.

yuh mussi tink mi and u a one. of course i dont know weh di chread deh or wah it name. mi just know say its been discussed. if i read it that means it must have been in one of the foll categories: relationship, health/fashion, general discusion or down in entertainments. maybe even the reason section but i cant remember. i would try relationship and entertainment sections first. search fi eidda scandal or olivia pope. u will find it or u no name wah u a name.
