We are going for the W/E of July 4th.

Visit the Taste of Chicago ..(Friday/Saturday day)
Our get-together dinner. (Friday night)
i'm thinking of a party/cookout/hangout session on the lake front .. Saturday

maybe have some Jamaican fare catered ..
play some games/dominoes ect ..

Sunday free .. unless there is more for others to do
but i'm thinking some people may be leaving on Sunday .. so i'll leave it free for other optoins ..

Hotels in Chicago are many ..
Congress Plaza Hotel is right across the street from Grant Park ( Taste of Chicago site)

There is another a block South that may be cheaper ..
i'll find out the name and post it here ..

Someone asked for cheap Motels ..
well these are the ones i deive by ..
din't know how &quot;cheap&quot; they are ..
or the conditions of their roome ..
i've never been into their rooms ..
so let the buyer beware ..
