So far out of the first three episodes I only enjoyed the second. The first was a bit slow and the third had way too much inexplicable foolishness:<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Click to reveal.. <input type="button" class="form-button" value="Show me!" onclick="toggle_spoiler(this, 'Yikes, my eyes!', 'Show me!')" /></div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div style="display: none;">Jessica giving that filthy doll to Arlene's baby and Arlene taking it! Lafayette running off to Fangtasia made no kind of sense. Sam hitting Andy was stupid too. All Sam had to do was duck as Andy was obviously out of his mind. Sookie just stood there shouting "Eric!" as he sucked Claudine dry, while at the beginning of the episode she wasn't afraid to punch him in the face. Pam left the phone off the hook when she ran off to Bon Temps, but she's worried about someone finding Eric in his helpless state. What if the fangbanger she left in the office was one of Nan's spies? Alcide & Debbie together again? W T H????
The only parts that made any kind of sense were Sam's brother planning to cheat Maxine and the Hot Shot crew trying to get Jason to breed the females. I liked the scene where Sam was flirting with Tara, but in light of his flirtation with Luna, Sam just looks like a flighty skirt-chaser which he has never been before.</div></div></div>
I started feeling really nostalgic for season 1 with Gran, René, and so much potential with the surviving characters. Coincidentally (or not) that was the only season to follow the source material fairly closely. Oh yeah, the Godric storyline was good too.
