Poor little Seppia. Looks like she was still a little girl after all. When I saw Virinius, I knew Seppia's days were numbered. Not to mention, all of a sudden Glaber started lokking really handsome. How did that happen?

Great episode - action, scheming, plus Glaber was looking good, oh my.

The season took too long to build momentum though. Hope the pacing improves next season.

this episode didnt do it for me. i like wats happening but i felt like certain scenes where put in just to drag out the hour. eg. the scenese where the rebels sparred with one another. the only sparring of significance was that of crixus, annimaus, gannicus of the ohter guy. dem coulda did cut out the ress an put in more meaningful story.

Illithia surprise mi to neck string. i wonder if a dat she and lucrecia did plan fi di gal all along. seems to me that if gias hadnt come around to her side she would have killed him as well.

I'm with Vegas, I think last week's episode was much better. This one didn't have Spartacus substance (killing, sexing, and scheming). And without all those distractions, it just put McIntyre's acting skills on front page. Him just can't carry di swing at all.

Teng God fi his supporting cast, cause oddawise di poor show ooda flop.

I was wondering how long they would be able to drag out the escaped slaves in the wilderness story. Surely that cannot fill up an entire season.

It would make sense to end the series. Let's see what happens on Friday.

Whoa — Starz just renewed Spartacus for a third season.

The timing is a surprise, even if the news is not: Two months before Sparty is set to return for a second season, Starz has decided to pick up the franchise for a third round (<span style="font-weight: bold">the season numbers don’t include the six-episode prequel, Gods of the Arena</span>). The move shows confidence in both the strength of the series and in new star Liam McIntyre, who took on the lead role of Spartacus after star Andy Whitfield withdrew from the series to resume “aggressive treatment” for non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

Liam McIntyre is not bulked enough and needs to exude more testosterone as Spartacus..

Agreed. Although I would add that Liam is just not as good an actor as Andy. Andy wasn't that big either, but he had the ability to light up the screen....especially in the intimate scenes.

Ashur was a great villain. It would have been fun to see him as the last surviving enemy of Spartacus, hitching his wagon to the next round of Romans trying to put down the slave revolt. Anyway, it made sense for him to meet his end the way he did but still, people like him usually hard fi dead.
