i know ur take on Christianity and religion as a whole but i have to ask...do u find at time that the author is taking pokes at Christianity...some of the dialogue n practises seem very similar to some denominations of modern christianity...wat say u

I thought he showed great restraint and respect to all religions. Even to the extent he gives logic to assains cult. There is magic north of tje wall. Body transfers ressurection and voodoo almost.And the newer an ient religion of the seven. The religion of the Iron isle was I thought was christianty in the xtreme. With baptisms and reborn. The firery priest not in the show but the fire priestest was a virgin or mother cult. I originally thought Gaia. non so far supreme all described and explained as u go along.
there was the older relifon that john snow took his vows was paganism much like our own half forgotten obeah. as for the frog people religion thag was the one i dont follow.
how ever the best was the relivion of the Klaisi. Pure nomadic like the Hun or the Masai.
then they will all follow blondi as she gains victories. Showing that the best religion is succes.
I think his best character is the dwarf, the cynic constantly reading slightly in love with his sister. does not dismiss any beleif baconian in his aproach. All the council dismiss the message from the walll as hokum. He instead trusts the Lord Commander but.cannot prove.That was also neds and lord davos aproach respect but varying from atheist to agnostic.
I can see though the logic of ur statement there is in all of them aspects of chistianty. -

that is y i pressed on with reading the books...i am not fond of this genre but the writing is phenomenal...very literary...u could study the books fi real in a classroom setting...symbolism etc permeates the series.... i glossed over the first reading but went back and read them all leaving nothing out and the second reading was the clincher for me...still not watching the series but will wait an buy the cds if an wen it is finally at an end...watch it then in totality...Comment

I finished watching Episode 3... and they changed the Drown God Baptism... it was only a Baptism.....symbolic drowning!!!!!!
Brianne of Thath has the physicallity but is too attractive, she was really ugli...Though I thought that she was big but I think they have her too big...!
They did the homoxesuality of Rennie well! But theDwarf steals every thing.. Small scene with Shagger! who gets told to cut of Pieceli genetelia and feed it to the goats, says there are no goats around here...Comment

They have shortened the travels in the desert of Queen Blondi. (Because of u I now think of it as moses in the wilderness)... They got to Qath too quickly... Oh and scene with Lord Davos and the Fire priestess they got really well... Liam Cunnigham was brilliant... as he flinched away.....
Arya is coming into her own.... Lord Lannitser spotted that she was a female right away.... That was some imaginative torture!
I tell u u should watch it...
