Are any of you watching?

It's a good show, but many aspects of it are extremely troubling to me. Let me hear your thoughts and insights.

Star - it's actually a SHOWTIME program but I know what you mean.

I just saw it last week for the first time. The many levels on which it scares me - some I don't even want to think out loud.

Like - I mean ... I really think that there are some truisims to the show. I DO believe there are peeps who walk both sides of the fence. Like the reporter who made the guy get the codes from the safe.

And I do think there are peeps who are Muslims but keep it on the DL.

I do think - for sure - there are good peeps in the govt who want to blow a whistle, know there's wrong going on in all kinds of situations, but they're not taken seriously.

I can't even go any further.

Yes saw it last season and loved it. If you get a chance to catch up on the previous episodes you will understand why Brody does what he does

I wonder how Clair Dane's character is going to play out this season...

Lots of truisms and makes perfectly clear how things are not always as they seem

He was kidnapped and held hostage for 8 yrs.. Tortured for a good number of years den Abu Nassir showed him kindness and had him as a tutor for his son Isa. Brody and Isa were very attached. Isa was killed in a US airstrike and now Abu Nassir manipulates Brody to get back at the US in Isa's name.


Two hostages were still alive, Brody and a next guy. The next guy was released as an agent and did a lot of bombings &amp; such last season. He got killed off near the end too.

Have you all seen the season 2 premier? I don't want to spoil anyone and chat things you haven't watched yet.

It was hard getting through the first episode of season 2. I'm sick to death of the fear mongering and &quot;Arabo&quot;-Muslim jihadist, bomb-wielding, boogey man. And what Brody's wife said about Islam, black victims of slavery and colonialism could say about Christianity.

Let's hope the rest of the season gives a more nuanced and balanced view of the subject other than that of a teenager in Quaker school. Imagine, she was the most sensible character in the episode!

I can't say anymore as I could end up on some countries' watchlists...

The series is probably a reasonably accurate depiction of people's thinking in the US though.

Watched the second episode....I thought it was odd they went into the war room and they did nto leave their mobiles outside...basic security....

gotta say it turns out Saul is the only character I like.......

What Blondie tried is always upsetting to me....As for Saul at the airport.. it struck me that it would be easier and cleaner for the lebanese to disappear him...
