I am so psyched for this! Ooohh... I was thinking that I would hold out and just do a marathon watch at the end of the season, but I don't think I can!

Anyone else looking forward to this new season? If yes, what characters/story-lines are you most keen to see? I haven't read the books (although this year I plan to rectify that) so some of you (Wahalla, evan, bstar) are more in the know, but I still appreciate your insight!

As for me, I just love Tyrion (though never more so than when him bax de taste outta de likkle coward mout)... can't believe how he saved the day and was summarily ousted... and with a bloody great scar to boot...




and I am digging Daenerys. Just loving the way she's evolved...

and caught an interview with the linguist for the show

the linguist tells how he further develops the language dothraki and how he gives the actors tapes to help them pronounce the words.

the producers were worried that the studios etc would not pick up the show because apparently subtitles are still a huge risk, and especially with a language that does not exist.

Anyho, GoT has taken the whole fantasy genre to the next level. And it is superb.

But anyways, prolly jus gonna be me one watching dis year but I'm still happy as shyte!

Dove into the season premiere and saw that Cersei Lannister is still Queen *****...



But Tyrion always have the better lines...

Ah we are into series 3 episode 3....

Got to be impressed with the range of talent... There was a comment that soon every single actor in the UK will have a job on it.... F

Diana Rigg.... From Bond Girl to Avengers to Game of thrones....

Now three of my favourite british actors are in it at the same time in the same episode..

Liam Cunningham.... The onion knight

James Cosmos..... Lord Mormont

Clive Russel ........ Black Fish

What is interesting about them was that they were in a TV series in the 90's called Roughnecks.... (with that scottish girl from Ugly Betty)... they have natural non Southern England accents... Also in that Series was Ian Glenn (and the actor that played Shagger!)

Now this Danyrlys Stormborn is brilliant... in the first series I never liked the actress who played her as she was such an airhead... This was because she was more complex in the books than it was portrayed. (one thing they missed was when she lost her cherry, the Khal had her dripping and almost begging before the deed.. along period of fore play, she had been terrified and then she fell in love with him that night).. But the actress pulled the nuance peformance

The torture scene was brutal; and what I what to see how they portray what will happen to....I got ot admit that I think they cant do what is called for on TV....And the attempted male rape had me cringing.....better than the book in some ways....

The funniest scene was in the Whorehouse.... and the aftermath.. when Tyrion and Brann took poor Podrick....4 young nubile female sex workers including an acrobat...!!!!! Then he comes back and hands back the money.....That was pure comedy...Tyrion the whoremaster and the Bonn pull up chairs....

I know there are the prudes who will complain about the nudity and the sex... but surpringly I find the sex scenes usually non erotic..They have so far been whores or incest or homosexual......I heard a comment in that in most cases sex scenes are can be taken out of a fuilm and there is no effect of the story line... Here it is used as integral to the story... Take the Podrick scene... it is used to summerised and reinforce / remind what happened in the second series when Tyrion saved the city and Podrick saved Tyrion...The conversations that takes place there...

Let me be clear.. I think woman is Yevvete the red head is sexy without seeing her body.. But the whores are just that sex workers, I imagien they smell like whores all the world over cheap perfume, sweat and cum... But I got to admit that Mellisdre could use me as a sex toy !!!!

The banking crisis in the western world has an identical analog....

I will rewatch episode 3 this week end....(I also see series 4 is on the books!!!!)

got to say that Dan Hilderbrand was who should have had Dicaprio part in Django... That man potrayed brutality... in the second episode he cut off the unsullied nipple...

Look at all the Trekkies who learn Klingon. Before dem learn Spanish or French.

Change my mind about Yvette... saw her body!!!!...bit bony.... always the sex scenes are part of the story... This one the story could do without...And it was the only sex scene so far that was "normal" not between prostitutes or gay. But one that was simply for the joy and pleasure of sex. John Snow getting busy with Yvette...But he broke his vow of celebricy hence lost normality

There was another sex scene... But as always it was gay.. the Prince of flowers being flowered....

harles Dance was in it for 5 minutes and absolutely brilliant.. Y british acting is... The man gave the impression he would slit ur throat, .... and he out played Tyrion and Circe...

Arya realised that she needed people and I think she realise she cares for the Blacksmith..

They handle the resurrection of the flame priest and the mutnity of the nights watch very well.... The mutiny was brilliant because you understand Y it happens ...

But the best is the kingslayer and the Briyanne in the bath.. The deconstruction of a Psyhic...One thing that the series does better than the books is the Jamie Lannister character... In the books to this point he was a air head, good looking, rich and deadly....Jamie Lannister was more complex a character in the series.. Teh actor does it well...

I am waiting for the next book to close the losse threads...

Watch out for Grey Worm.... At the head of thje 8000 of the Unsullied... Teh rivarly between Lord Mornmort... and Lord Beris..

Yeah, Jamie Lannister is coming over to the light... lord but his transition is brutal (the hand!) and painful... I was riveted at the bath scene... poor Jamie (can't believe I'm actually saying that)

And while he fainted in obvious relief that Cersci is still alive, I wonder how they or even if, they'll reconnect, considering that his humanity is finally flowering while her's is as dead as a nit...

Watching.... The end of Rob and his mother....I wondered if they would go through with it, they did. And if I had not read the books it would have stunned me... But game gets interesting especially in the North... This weej was the first episode without Tyrion....Grey Worm with the spear... Cool and deadly....

the final episode this season... The best and most ponient in a fim ever in a film.... It explains an entire character....

Charles Dance at the small council......that was some brilliant acting all round... Even joffrey.....Peter Dinkage was out classed....

I loved the discussion of power between Tyrion and his father...That is how difficult it is to pin down power.. But the line "Youve sent the king to bed without his supper!"

Each time u think the father appriciates the son he proves how much he detest Tyrion... Charles Dance is the ultimate baddy!



Ygrette puts three arrows into John Snow....... "you know nothing jon snow"

But the scene with "white liberator" was as disturbing as I expected...

One thing I didnt think Theon was castrated in the books... and in the books Reek suddenly appears.. it takes a while to figure out he is Theon....

The king slayer return was anti climatic to say the least... And I dont think in the books the big lady went to Kingslanding with him... As there was a thread in the books about what he did after he returned

Some nice things set up for the next season!!!!
