"Moonshiners" reality star, Tickle, real name Steven Ray Tickle, will be back on TV this year. This time, the lovable “I love Moonshine” star will have his own show called, “Tickle.” It will contain moonshine, devious people and deep country wisdom that only Tickle can come up with. Remember the show when he filled the tanks on his motor home with moonshine instead of water and sold the moonshine that way?
What’s the show about? Moonshine of course. While the production crew filmed Tickle walking through the deep Virginia woods, he tumbles down a hillside and accidentally stumbles across some moonshine worth $80,000.
The stash isn’t his or Tim’s, but he takes the moonshine anyway. Tickle has a plan. He finds a storefront in Gretna Va. that he rents. In the front of the store, Tickle plans to sell fishing supplies, but the back of the store will house his secret, under the radar moonshine distribution point. It will be reminiscent of the prohibition days when people sold liquor in back rooms or hidden locations.
According to the NY Daily News, Tickle said, “A find like this doesn’t happen more than once in a lifetime. To be honest I didn’t think there would be a TV show about it, but I’m glad it worked out. What you see is really what going on, it’s everything that happened out there, they are just filming me doing what I do.”
