I know the series is drawing to a close.

There has been some criticism that the show is racist, I guess that is up for debate.

Giancarlo Esposito was and always will be one of the best villains to ever grace the screen.

Funny you should mention this. I have been hearing about this for a while but, not being a TV person, brushed it aside. Then at a friend's insistence (and I was bored) I watched the pilot.

Yes excellent show indeed!!

I have just finished season 4, I am going to wait until season 5 is complete at the end of the month and then just download that entire season and lock myself in the house one weekend and just watch it all.

The show gets better as it progresses, season 4 was amazing. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The racial criticisms I have been reading is that the two main characters are white and the villains they encounter along the way are either hispanic or black. However, I believe that both of the main white characters are not devoid of evil so they too are stained. So therein lays the point of argument.

In any event, the show makes everything else on TV look lackluster in comparison. JMHO

BTW, I am not much of a TV person either but am glad I could enjoy this series.

I only just resumed watching this show two weeks ago. Started watching when it came out back in 08 I think, but couldn't keep up. When I heard that this would be the last season, plus the men at work kept talking about how good 'last night's' episode was, plus every strikin place pon de internet have sitn fi say bout it, I figured it was time to watch it all.

So we've had a marathon and man, oh man...

The progression of the characters... or maybe I should say, the degression, was just so brilliant and gut wrenching...

Walt in those vexing tighty-whities, and his myriad of tan slacks and blazers... oye...

& Jessie and his one word vocab... (I've actually spent a day trying to say @ *itch! like he does... I just ended sounding mentally challenged)

Anyways, I'm all caught up now and am on tenterhooks waiting for the last 2-3 episodes...

btw, My Looh, I think you should ban yourself from your own thread til you're all caught up. Cause I want to talk de tings!!!

Finally somebody watching it real time, mi say the show waan gi mi a stroke! This final season they are pulling out the stop and it has been exceptional! I can't wait to see what happens, I am hooked on reading everything about it and all the comments. I have to say I was still on team white for a long time but mi finally had to let him go fully last week when him point out Jesse under the car. I mean is not as if him wasn't already trying to kill him but I thought after what happened he would be like ok all is lost now, baxcover I was soo sad and it kept getting worse. It was a great episode last week.

I know right? I am rooting for Walt all the way, even though with every episode he gets more evil!!! Jessie's killed a man, but his love of kids redeems him. Yet, I was still rooting for Walt.

When he finally told Jessie about Jane, and the look on poor Jessie's face... my heart just broke...

But I'm still rooting for Walt! Go figure! \o/

Mr White has broken bad all the way! I never cared much for Hank....ok all who never watched the episode stop read cause me don't know where the spoiler button is......so when dem kill him which I expected I was still sort of sad, but not for Marie....haha the only way I am rooting for him now is whoever he is going up against in the end is prob worse than him I am assuming uncle jack dem so I would be on his side for that, other than that I am fully expecting him to die in the end, and I am ok with that.
