question. is it just one location that the books are distributed to? or do you guys choose a different community island wide each time you have the book drive ?


jsut wondering because I am sure there is a need for books island wide and not just one location ?

i have selected 3 books so far and all of them are either out-of-print or currently unavailable

All books go to one location, and the location changes every year.

All the books used to be sent to Xavier's house, and then he shipped them to JA. I remember one year Pepper and I was helping in Xavier's garage and the whole place just full up with book! But as you can imagine that takes a lot of effort and money so now a foundation is used, the books get shipped directly there, and they distribute the books to the chosen community.

Magic and Pepper...we have to do the "boat" again...the eatings was good.

For the past 2 years the location has been the same being that the Allen-Shaw Foundation is trying to stack their main community library. There is discussion on expanding to another location.

The book not longer come directly to me but to the Foundation. They ship it to Jamaica.

I think it is a good idea to donate to different communities each year. Lots of children around the island that need books. If the drive is done <span style="font-weight: bold">year round</span>, be it a calendar year or otherwise, then there will be enough books to stock 1 or 2 locations.
