u know dat was di last song him record before di lady shoot him at the hotel...that song is credited wid stawting the protest song movement in R n B music...the conspiracy theorists say that his death so closely after this song being done was iffy...some say ironical...eida way, it really is a wikked song an his version is sooooo eerie wen u lissen it...u really get goose bumps fi real

that story very weird indeed...i had started to read a sam cook bio one time but neva get fi read it...
the story how him dead very weird...was a conscious bredda too...chose to go natural when everyone was creming their hair...

it is reported by band members and i listened to the recounting while watching a documentary that included his musical rise from gospel to R n B.....after a studio session they all went to a local joint..as usual, Sam was swarmed by women BUT this one woman stood out for remaining in har space and seemingly ignoring him an all the rayray....that peaked his interest and soon after he approached har and they left the club together....dont know the actual time that elapsed bet his approaching har an she leaving but a so di band memba was recounting...they went to a hotel in a seedy pawt of town, which in the retelling was also questioned...shortly after checking in Sam supposedly went to the lobby to speak with the manager and in the midst of that encounter, she, the manager, a black middle aged woman, shot him dead

i watched her say on camera, that he approached her in a menacing way and she shot him...shot him more dan one time too....she said she felt threatened by him
