alot of music and books were banned in South Africa....alot of reggae... also Black Beauty was banned a number of times... This is why i was surprised that I got a copy of Vic Reids New Day (first edition) from south africa
Dylan was banned.... they let in some Dylan and scratched some of the tracks....
Look up a documentrary called Looking for Sugarman....
what is never discussed is that the part of the sound system for Bob 1980 concert was shipped from South Africa.... and a number of white south africans attended... -

BTW, this is my favourite song from the album. Not sure what he is singing about but....I guess he never performed it live.
This has the lyrics, maybe someone can explain what it's about.
