Burning Spear was announced earlier tonight as the winner of the Best Reggae Album 2009 Grammy Award for his album - “Jah Is Real“. This is the second time that Burning Spear has won the reggae grammy. In 2000 he won with “Calling Rastafari“.

- Heavy D - Vibes
- Lee “Scratch” Perry - Repentance
