i heard a jazzy type tune with a man and woman singing called 'space is the place' or something like that...

can't remember what the rasdio announcer called them...sunrise international or something like that

never heard of them but interesting music

that's how i discovered most of my fave artists..something a little (or in some cases extremely) quirky that caught my attention

you are speaking of "sun ra" the jazz pianist/big bandleader that was very prolific indeed. "space is the place" was i think an album title but definetly was a song of his. june tyson was the female vocalist.....see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A74bjt0yGDc for in depth view of this artist
