I have been listening to and going to see Morgan Heritage for many years now.
I love their music, and every time I go to a live show I hitch up in front of the keyboard and wait for Granpa to come sing to me


Di man voice like velvet and im smile light up di night


Some of my favorite songs have been the ones where Gramps sings the most... unno ever hear &quot;I'm Coming Home&quot;? Mi love dat tune fi real...


Anyway, when I heard Gramps had a solo album coming out I could not wait to hear...


When the website went up mi deh a prips inna daytime... im put up new songs all di time and mi listen

One song in particular called &quot;One in a Million&quot; is my favorite mi listen to di song on the website nuff times.

Mi tell mi honey how mi cyaan wait till di album come out an mi can play di song for him


So when mi find out Gramps was doing his first ever solo gig an hours drive from me, I HAD to go!



I'm sooooooo glad I did!!!

The opening act was calling themselves &quot;Double Lion&quot; it was a combination of 2 singers from The Sacramento Area. King Hopeton and XSample...
The music was sweet, and they seem to have a good local fan base.

Me watch as the women start come from the back of the crowd armed with their digi's


I am so used to seeing Gramps behind the keys. Usually he'll come out and sing a song or two, but to watch him standing there working the crowd, he is so humble! The deep timber of his voice seems almost effortless. He was looking out on the crowd and you could see he was surprised at the reaction of the women around him. It made me think of Dennis Brown fi real... the way he touch the ladies hands an you could just feel like is him who felt honored to have these fans...
