that somehow the talent we have in the Caribbean would get out and have their fair share of returns in this big, wide world.


Each year we have a grand National Arts Festival competition in Speech, Music and Drama in some of the islands and let me tell you, for here and in Jamaica, for example, we have some fo the finest talent you could ever want to see...yet...they hardly ever get heard after school days are over.

What could be done?

It's just a wish...

You are so korreck, dere are many things good about us that a very many, including our own, don't have the foggiest idea about. Pity we couldn't bottle it and eidah give it away or sell it...in any case mi feel so thrilled that the UWI singers chose to dig deep in the culture of 9 Night [deep because it is almost extinct now-a-days] and put it in this format where it can be preserved for a long long time to come.
