I used to have a big crush on him back in the day Again he isnt much older than me and it is jarring to hear that he had a heart attack. Please tell me that it isnt because of drugs

never knew him to use drugs as i don't consider herb to be 'drugs' like that...
heard he had successful surgery and should pull through
phone calls time...is a good bredda dat; fi real...
one of the all-time best rappers in my book...

good to here the surgery was successful. I was thinking hard drugs but if that isnt what he was into then he just got dealt a bad hand when it came to his heart. You never know how your ancestors history stays on such things that you end up inheriting.

"elysees montmartre" for their first concert..
afta the show wi spends few hours in a "squat",smoking and chill out!!!
and mi memba that he tell me that he gat ASHTMA!!!since lang time ago..!
it was more than 1 hour we smok and roll spliff ov ganja mixed wiv AFGHAN&MORROCO resin!!!

Rapper Guru, who rose to fame with hip-hop outfit GangStarr, has died aged 43 after a long battle with cancer.
The MC, whose real name was Keith Elam, suffered a cardiac arrest in February after surgery to treat the disease and briefly lapsed into a coma.
A statement released by his PR company contained a letter purportedly written by Guru in his final days.
"I have suffered with this illness for over a year," he wrote. "I have exhausted all medical options."
"I write this with tears in my eyes, not of sorrow but of joy for what a wonderful life I have enjoyed and how many great people I have had the pleasure of meeting."
According to the statement posted on the Yo! Promotions website Guru had tried to "keep his harrowing diagnosis private" and died on the morning of Monday, 19 April.

yes, but in this case it's not gratuitous....
in the first video "just to get a rep"...he tells the story of a street gangster whose violent ways resulted in his own violent death at a young age...
there's a moral to the story and the footage just illustrates the story...as in any good movie or play or art...Comment
