Mistress of the Vatican by Eleanor Herman

started it lass nite n love it ....the writer is great...her writing style makes history come alive in many a way...she sardonic , witty, ironic an juss plain funny at times wid har wording....

it is a true story of the woman the called the 'Secret Female Pope'....Joan of Arc being Pope was make-believe...dis lady was real in dat she wheel n deal from poverty to bring about har bredda-in-law elevation to di Papacy n den wielded ultimate power

u get insight into the Catholic Church dat is eye-opening n soooo interesting

finally had a quiet minute to read the excerpt and I am interested in reading the book

no problem...mi sista wan read it too...btw afta har lass check up di doctor show us where she almost in remission...so di bone marrow transplant going ahead earlier... .dis is di bummer cause u know is total isolation wid dat

It is good news though that she is almost in remission though Still doesnt make the isolation part any easier though

How long that will have to last? Plus that will mean ppl cant send you things either cause they would consider that a way for unintended bacteria and such to get in the house?
