He's of Liberian Heritage, went to China in 2002 from England to work in the aerospace industry. Entered a song competition and came second. Since then, has become a millionaire performer.

The song he's singing is a Mongolian folk song that praises Chairman Mao. Rough translation:

i like the african's version better


it was slower, more deliberate...the big orchestra...the crowd applause...
