Most of you weren't born yet when this song came out
In this this video there is a cover of Time Magazine shown that has four pictures on it:
Two helicopters in Vietnam, Janis Joplin singing out, Bobby Kennedy (not dead yet ) shaking hands in a crowd and Coretta Scott King in mourning.
I was 24 at the time. Ganja, LSD, mescaline were all the rage.
Psychedelia was the order of the day when this came out.
So smoke yourself up, crank up the music or get on the headphones and listen the this and get a feel for what it was like in those best of times in the States.
Nice crescendo at the very end.
Time Has Come Today by the Chambers Brothers (and one white dude).
