Miami Reggae Fest April 30th, Peacock Park Coconut Grove.
This was a free festival with several up-and-coming artists. The announcement advertised the following line-up:
MIAMI REGGAE FESTIVAL, WITH LUCIANO & THE JAH MESSENGER BAND, WARRIOR KING, BONNIE CASEY, CULTURA PROFETICA, SPAM ALL STARS, JAHFE & MORE..
This was billed as a food drive to benefit Curley's House. Curley's house is community based organization that feeds and clothes those in need.
I get to the park and notice Luciano's name is nowhere to be found. BUT, instead of his name I see Morgan Heritage.
I didn't realize they hadn't been on stage together since 1997. Seems like just yesterday.....
